Here are some answers to common questions...

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT OUR FIRST MEETING?
Personal training clients are required to complete the Fitness Evaluation before starting sessions...This includes comprehensive testing and discussion...You will receive a copy of your results and a customized program at your 2nd session...
First time Massage clients will receive a brief questionnaire and evaluation at their initial appointment.

 

HOW OFTEN DO WE MEET?
There are many options...Some people choose to meet regularly...Others choose to meet on a consultation basis...You will be given a program to follow...but it is up to you to determine how often to schedule sessions...It is important to be realistic about your time constraints...budget concerns...and motivations when determining how often to meet...There will be no pressure to spend a lot of money...but you will be encouraged to keep in touch between appointments.

 
DO YOU HAVE A GYM OR HEALTH CLUB LOCATION? 
No...You meet in the convenience and privacy of your own home...A professional atmosphere is maintained at all times...There are no interruptions or distractions...There is no waiting in line for equipment...There are no membership fees...Session times are available by appointment only...You can also choose to meet at your workplace, outdoors, or at another mutually acceptable location...Some equipment can be provided if you don't have any. You can try out some devices before you decide to buy. You can also get recommendations and assistance in setting up a home gym if needed.                                                                                                                                            

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
You will not be required to sign a contract...You may choose to pay for 1 session at a time...or you can purchase a discounted 30-day package in advance...The more you purchase at a time...the bigger the discount per session...Visit the Rates page to see the variety of packages that are offered...All sessions must be completed within 30 days of the purchase date...There is an extension option available if you roll over unused sessions into your next purchase...You may wish to do this if you have a vacation...illness...or other unexpected absence...This way you will never lose the sessions if you continue with the program at a future date...There are no refunds for sessions purchased in advance.                                                                                                                                                    

WHY ARE ADVANCE PAYMENTS REQUIRED?
Advance payments are necessary to reserve session times...You can modify your appointment schedule later if you provide proper notification...People are less likely to cancel a session if they have already paid for it...Same day cancellations and missed sessions are not acceptable...The goal is promote a highly structured program that will keep you on track...Long term financial commitments are not necessary...but careful planning and accountability is essential for a successful program.

 
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
You must cancel at least 12 hours before a scheduled session to avoid being charged...Call anytime...Leave a message...if necessary...(24 hours a day)...You will be charged for any missed session or late cancellation...Thank you for your cooperation.                                                                                                                                   

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Payment options include...cash...check...or credit card...(VISA...Mastercard...Discover...American Express).

WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL TRAINING PHILOSOPHY?

I encourage my clients to improve upon every aspect of their health and fitness…Personal Training programs are very well balanced, and take a preventative care approach…They are not the typical one-dimensional plans that you can get anywhere…I pay attention to details so that each person gets a plan that is truly right for them.

I try to keep my prices within a reasonable range...while still maintaining a high level of customer service...You will have a completely customized plan outlined for you...Follow the plan on your own...or meet with me frequently for motivation and instruction...I am very supportive regardless of how often we meet...Monthly progress checks are recommended...I will also make suggestions that are suitable for your schedule and budget.

I strive to provide safe and effective advice...but ultimately...success will depend on your ability to follow the plan...Your time and commitment are the most important factors...For most people...this means gradually incorporating lifestyle changes into their daily routine...and eliminating some bad habits...I will help you set and reach attainable goals for the short term...but our focus will be on lifelong health and wellness...I'm ready to begin when you are...Give me a call...
